Greetings

The usual greeting is Jai Jinendra meaning Honor to the Supreme Jina. Michchha Mi Dukkadam is a request for forgiveness usually spoken a performing the annual forgiveness and repentance (Samavantsari pratikraman) ritual.

"Bhagavan Mahavira taught Jainism again. He was the twenty-fourth avatara (incarnation). Before him there were twenty-three Avatars such as Rishabha, Nemi, Parshva, etc. They also propagated Jainism. In this manner there was Jainism existing even before these twenty-three Avataras. From this the antiquity of Jainsim is established." ………………………

"We learn from Shastras and commentaries the Jainism is existing from beginningless time. This fact is indisputable and free from difference of opinion. There is much historical evidence on this point."
